Back and Neck Centre, now rebranded BNC Physiotherapy & Sports was
established in 1997 and provides a unique range of treatment
solutions for disorders of the spine and peripheral joints. |

It remains the only centre of its kind in the whole of the Asia
Pacific region that offers the state of art Medx exercise protocols
that are novel programs in the management of chronic back and neck
pain, especially those that persist despite your best efforts.
Although initially started with the objective of focussing on back
and neck disorders, BNC has evolved into treating other joint
problems and sports injuries due to increasing public demand. Our
team of physiotherapists at BNC have many years of experience in
treating musculoskeletal problems and are committed to delivering

Ms. Yasmin Qureshi |
|
Yasmin is the co-founder of BNC, and has a degree in Physiotherapy
from University of Sydney, Australia. She was instrumental in the
set up of MedX facilities in Singapore, and is certified in the US
on this equipment. Her experience spans 3 decades, and is passionate
about delivering the best patient care. |

Mr. Sai Ram Kumar |
|
Sairam received his Master’s degree in musculoskeletal physiotherapy
from the University of South Australia, Adelaide in year 2000. He is
additionally certified as an ergonomic evaluation specialist from
the USA. He has years of experience working in the area of
musculoskeletal care both in the public as well as in private
practice in Singapore. He has published papers in international
journals and written many articles on health and wellbeing for the
public. He delivers work injury prevention talks to many corporates
in Singapore. |

Ms. Rujutha Parmanand |
|
Rujuta has a Master’s Degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from
the University of Mumbai, India. She joined the Back and Neck Centre
in 2008 and has been actively involved in spinal pain management and
rehabilitation programmes designed to prevent recurring back and
neck pain. Her interests lie in treating the cause of pain with
exercise prescription and ergonomic modifications. She is a member
of Singapore Physiotherapy Association. |

| Mr. Bernard Liew |
| Bernard graduated with a Bachelors of Science
(Physiotherapy) (Hons) from Curtin University, Perth, Australia.
Bernard has a keen research and clinical interest in the areas of
chronic pain syndromes, spinal pain conditions and the use of
specific exercise approaches to treating chronic painful conditions.
In addition, he is always keen in incorporating new scientific
treatment approaches such as mental imagery, in the treatment of
typical musculoskeletal conditions. With experience in the area of
evidence based practice, Bernard believes in collaborating with his
clients to decide on the best possible treatment options for them.
